Recommended Cover for Brake Controller When Not Installed and Harness Protection

When I take the p3 controller out of my vehicle when not camping, is there a dust cover for the harness plug end that stays in the truck?

There is not a dust cover for the wiring harness when you unplug your Tekonsha brake controller. You can use dielectric grease # 11755 to keep moisture and dirt out of the connections. This will protect from corrosion. You can keep the controller itself covered using the Pouch for Tekonsha Brake Controllers # 5897. If you have the custom wiring harness, you can remove the harness with the controller if you so desire.
