The Roadmaster adapter # RM-076 does provide an extension of 10-1/4 inches measured from the pin hole on the shank to the pin hole on its receiver. And it does provide a 6 inch drop. But it sounds like you need something that has the back of the receiver out 10 inches. If that is the case this adapter would be too short.

A lot also depends on the application. In other words, what is it that you need to be able to do? The adapter above can only be used for flat towing a vehicle behind an RV. Looking through all of our similar adapters none extend out 10 inches and then drop down. But if it is just the extension that needs to be 10 inches, pin hole to pin hole, then # RM-076 is a great option if you are flat towing.
