Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring that Locks Trailer Brakes When Brake Pedal is Pressed
Question:
I hooked my camper up to my pickup02 ford f150 when I apply the brakes the camper brakes grab. When I work them manually they work fine. Any idea?

Sounds like you have a short between the stop/turn signal on your trailer wiring and the brake output which is applying the brakes every time you touch them. Go over the wiring of both the connectors on your truck and trailer to see if you can find where the short is and fix as necessary.
To narrow down which side has the short on it apply both blinkers and the one that pulses the brakes with the flasher is the one with the short.
