The definitive way to determine the correct replacement hub is to go by the inner and outer bearing numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings. With these numbers I can determine the best hub or hub and drum assembly for your trailer.

Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-389-81UC3 is for Nev-R-Lube axles that use cartridge bearings. This one uses # 31-71-3 but you won't find that number stamped in it. If can be identified by its dimensions. The inner diameter is 50mm.

The other way to determine what hub will fit is to use calipers such as # PTW80157 and measure the spindle. I have included a picture showing where to measure. And I have included some additional links that will also help.
