What are the mounting instructions for the universal rails for a 5th wheel. My vehicle is a : 1998 Chevrolet C3500 Crew Cab with an 8 ft. bed.

To install a set of fifth wheel rails like the # RP30035 in the bed of your 1998 Chevy truck with an 8 foot bed you will need to measure 30-15/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed forward. That will be where the rear edge of the rear rail will sit. The front rail will be 22 inches measured on center in front of that rail
