In addition to the Tow Ready Tow Bar # 63180 referenced in your question, you will also need a base plate kit, safety cables, a lighting solution, a supplemental braking system, and likely a high-low adapter. I also highly recommend taking a look at the owner's manual for your vehicle to check on any guidelines or restrictions when it comes to towing it with all four wheels on the ground.

When using the Tow Ready Tow Bar, you will indeed need a 2 inch hitch ball like # A-90 on your RV for the coupler to latch onto. Also keep in mind that this particular tow bar does have a maximum speed restriction of 45 mph. For safety cables, you can use the Roadmaster 68 Inch # RM-643.

Then, for a base plate kit, I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 711-4. This is custom fit for your Mazda Miata and it features hidden brackets that will attach to the vehicle's frame to provide attachment points for the tow bar. You will need to add the Roadmaster Base Plate Adapter # RM-025 in order to use the Tow Ready Tow Bar with this kit.

To get the needed signal lights on your Miata for flat towing, I recommend taking a look at the Optronics Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights # TL21RK. This is a really nice, but economical solution that will simply mount to your vehicle without having to splice into any of its wiring.

For a supplemental braking system, I really like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This proportional system will physically press down on the brake pedal inside your Miata at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to it in your RV.

Lastly, you will also likely need a high-low adapter in order to keep the tow bar level. I have attached a great article that explains how to choose the best one for your setup, along with a link that will take you to our available selection. I have also included an FAQ on flat towing that you might find helpful.
