Where is the Date Code Located on a Trailer Tire

Where does it show on the tire when the tire was manufactured?

Expert Reply:

The date code on a tire is a 4 digit code stamped somewhere with the other information on the sidewall of a tire. I included a picture showing what to look for.

The first 2 numbers are the week and the second 2 numbers are the year. In the picture I included the code is 2511 meaning that tire was produced in the 25th week of 2011. This is obviously an older picture since we would not have tires that old still on the shelves.
