Hitch and Bike Rack for Hyundai Elantra for Carrying Schwinn Signature Mens Largo Cruiser Bike
Question:
The Dicks site says my bike weighs 42 pounds or a bit more. I need a trunk bike rack and a rail adapter that will take the weight for either of two Elantra sedans, one 2008 and one 2012. Are there any?

Since there are no trunk mounted bike racks with a high enough weight capacity for your bikes you'd have to look into a hitch mounted solution. For that you'd need the part # 24795 for a hitch on your 2008 Elantra and # 24902 for your 2012.
Then for a bike rack that is rated for the weight of your bikes we have the # HR200Z which is rated for 45 lbs per bike and since it uses an arm to grab the top tube of the bike your frame style and fenders would not be an issue.
