I just bought from you and installed the Kuat Sherpa 2. Will this hitch pin fit better, as the one that comes with the rack is super long.

The Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks # HL1 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 part # SH22G that you have. This pin is 5-3/4 inches long and has a pin span of 3-1/2 inches. This would be the same as what came with the rack though.
