Will the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator Part # DM72VR Fit a 2-1/2 Inch Wide Tongue

Im considering the Demco Code: DM72VR actuator but I have a 2.5 inch square tube straight tongue trailer. Does it come with 1/4 inch shims, to fill the needed 2.5 to 3 connection by chance?

The Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator part # DM72VR is designed to fit onto a 3" wide straight pull trailer tongue. In order to use this actuator on a 2-1/2" wide straight pull trailer tongue, you will indeed need to acquire four 1/4" thick spacers with a 1/2" diameter bolt hole opening as the actuator does not come with them. We do not offer these spacers but you can pick them up when you head to your local hardware store to acquire the two 1/2" x 4-1/2" grade-5 bolts/nuts you will also need to install the actuator.
