Recommended Trailer Jacks For Camper With Dry Weight Of 6000lbs
Question:
I currently have a dry weight camper of 6000 lbs. It has the ultra fab odyssey 4000 electric jack but it is acting up. It stops working and I have to apply a wrench and manually give it a turn and then it starts back working electrically till I let go of the button and have to restart. I was thinking this JET-3755 would be a big enough jack to handle this camper and my F250? Thanks

The # JET-3755 has a lift capacity of 3500lbs which will easily work for your camper with a dry weight of 6000lbs. A trailer jack is not rated by trailer weight. So in this case a 3,500lb rated jack could in theory handle 3500lbs of tongue weight. Jacks are usually overrated for the weight they actually need to lift because they need to lift weight and not just hold the weight.
