Will Other Curt Gooseneck Balls Work With The Curt Ball And Safety Chain Loop Kit - Item # C60692
Question:
I know you can use the Curt supply box #C60692, but will the ball from a Curt gooseneck fit right into the hole? Does it operate just like the full Curt installation the ball in, pull the pin to lock it in and done?

Expert Reply:
I contacted the manufacturer and the The Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit, Item # C60692, only works with the pop-in ball that comes with the kit.
This gooseneck ball is easy to insert and remove because of the ball bearing system that holds the ball in place inside the receiver. An integrated lever releases the ball for easy removal.
I have attached some videos that give more details for you to check out.
