Recommended Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch for 2015 Ford F-250 With Standard 5th Wheel Rails Installed

I currently have a curt 16K 5th wheel hitch, I need to upgrade to at least 18K do I need to change the bed rails out I have a short bed 2015 f250, the 16K that I have is a silder thank you

You do not need to change out your bed rails to upgrade to a larger sliding 5th wheel hitch in your 2015 Ford F-250. I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 for an 18K hitch that doesn't require manually switching a lever for slide. This is the nicest option and is rated for 18,000 lbs.
If you want a larger capacity with a more economical price point, I recommend the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider # C16541 which is a nice hitch at a decent price point.
You may also want to consider the wiring harness # 50-97-410 to put a 7-way connection in the bed of your truck for a clean look and easy access.
