Should Trailer Tire Size 235/80-16 Be Upgraded to 235/85-16 on Travel Trailer  

Question:

My Cardinal 31ft travel trailer bought new in 2005 came with tire size st235 80 R16 the mfg label states it has St235 85R 16 my tire date is 3105 should I stay with the size that’s on there now or go to st235 85r16 the trailer has a GVWR 10940 ?

The size difference between the two sizes you mentioned of 235/80-16 and 235/85-16 are so close that going to the larger size is a great idea. They both fit the same wheel dimensions as well.
