A favorite wiring kit here at etrailer is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. Once you install it you simply just connect the coiled wire from the 6-Way on your 2007 Jeep Commander to the 7-Way on your motorhome (assuming that's what your motorhome has) and you are good to go!
One of the best features about this kit is that if you use a supplemental braking system that draws power from the battery of your Commander, like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, you can install a Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to keep your battery charged. Just connect this to the middle pin of the 6-Way on your Commander and the positive terminal on your battery.
Please keep in mind that a complete flat towing kit includes a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and typically a high-low adapter. If you are missing any of these pieces please let me know and I can make a recommendation.
Be sure to check your owner's manual for any specific instructions regarding flat towing.
