Recommended Bike Rack and Trailer Hitch for 2017 Honda CR-V

To start with I recommend getting a 2 inch hitch on your 2017 Honda CR-V because that will allow you more options for a bike rack. The best hitch for you is going to be the Draw-Tite # 76128 because it will not require trimming your CR-V's fascia like the option from Curt does. The Draw-Tite has a 2-inch receiver and is a complete bolt-on installation so no drilling into your Honda's frame will be required. There are a couple of bike racks I recommend checking out, starting with the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 which comes in your choice of colors: Black # SH22B, Pearl # SH22P, or Gray # SH22G. This is a wheel-mount rack which uses ratcheting hooks to grasp your bikes by the front wheels so there is no frame contact and also has rear-wheel cradles with ratcheting straps to secure your bikes rear wheels.
