Battery Connection Location for ETBC7 Kit Installed on 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
when I installed the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires on my Jeep Liberty it was a snap. Of course the battery is under the hood. On the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee the battery is under the passenger seat and there are jump starting points under the hood. So how do I connect the above items to the battery? Do I route the wire into the battery compartment? Or some other electrical point under the hood. Looking for the best connection option. Thanks

I'd recommend connecting the power wires of the brake controller install kit part # ETBC7 to whichever point is easiest. I'd imagine the jump start port would be easier since it's designed to be accessed, but otherwise if you wanted to route the wire to the interior of your vehicle directly to the battery that would work as well.
