Troubleshooting Trailer Dome Lights that Dont Illuminate When 7-Way Circuit is Active
Question:
I have power at the 7 pin connector on the truck but when plugged in the trailer inside dome lights dont work. Any thoughts?

Since you have power on the pin of connector on the vehicle that means the issue is on the trailer side of the wiring.
Most likely it's just a dirty trailer connector. Try cleaning all the pins of the 7-way to see if that fixes the problem. Aside from that you'd have to check the wiring of the light and make sure the bulb is still good.
