Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Stopped Working on 2004 Chevy Silverado with Brake Pedal
Question:
Tralor brakes dont work when pedal is aplied but lights work except back of cab. Work manually light on cab works an the brakes work but brake lights on bed dont

It sounds like you have a bad third brake light (CHMSL), fuse and because of that your brake controller has stopped working. Replacing the fuse should fix the problem and get your controller back going.
This fuse is very easy to blow on Chevy trucks of the same generation as your 2004 model.
