I have a 2016 grand Cherokee Laredo. I would like to put a hullavator for my kayak. But I need the cross bars.

In order to install the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 on your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo you'd need to install a roof rack with crossbars like the Thule Podium Aeroblade rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH460R, and # THKIT3142.
The Laredo versions of your vehicle have the flush rails with the metal strip down the middle like what this rack is designed to fit.
