Adapter Recommendation For Installing Supplemental Transmission Cooler in 2011 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I was told we need to replace the transmission lines too. This dealer told me the cost to add this to my 2011 silverado 4.8 is appx. 800.00 I dont see why these other things need to be done for this addition

When you install an aftermarket transmission cooler in your 2011 Chevy Silverado like the Derale kit part # D13503 you will want to use the fitting adapters part # D13035 but you would not need to replace the lines of the transmission.

I attached an install video that shows this cooler installed on a similar Suburban which will have the same install process and you can see that the lines don't need to be replaced.
