Replacement 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connection for 2014 Ford F-250 Factory Wiring

Question:

I have a 2014 Ford F250 with factory-installed trailer light connection. My trailer has a 4-pin connection. The left turn right turn and Brake lights work but the running light does not work. I have checked the terminals and I see no power for the running light. However the truck also has a 7-way light connection and the running Lightworks in that one. I have attempted to check the fuses but cannot find one that looks bad or that is specific for running lights

Because the running light connection on your 7-way works but does not work on your 4-way, that indicates there is an issue between the two connections and most likely is an internal issue. I recommend using the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End # HM40975 to replace your current wiring connector.

We know the connection on the back side and wiring leading up to it are good because you have the complete functions on your 7-way.
