Troubleshooting Reverse Light Function on 7-Way Trailer Connection on 2006 Ford F-250
Question:
I have no power at the center pin of my trailer plug. I have checked fuse #4 and it is fine. Do you have a wiring diagram for the trailer plug system. specifically the reverse lamp and where it is fed from .

Since you have no power for the reverse light function on your 7-way, I recommend first checking your ground as a seemingly good ground can often cause one function like this not to work. You will want to ensure you have a clean bare metal to metal connection free of corrosion and debris.
Then you will want to use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to trace that wire probing the insulation every couple of feet to find a short and replace as needed. I don't have a wiring schematic for your vehicle, so you will need to physically trace it. If you decide you want to simply add a new connection for this feature, you can splice into the reverse light power at your tail lights and use # 16-1-1 along with quick connect # SWC501925-1 to capture that signal and connect it to your 7-way.
