Recommended 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Install Bracket and Rail Kit for a 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon

I am looking for a rail and hardware kit for my Reese Fifth wheel hitch. I have a 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon.

Despite the Power Wagon package the bracket kits for your truck are the same as any 2017 Ram 2500. I checked with Reese to make sure there aren't any variances that would cause an issue. I recommend part # RP50054-58 for your hitch. It's a custom kit to make the install quicker and reduce the amount of drilling. I've linked an install video on a 2016 2500 for you as well.

I'm not sure which fifth wheel hitch you're using but since the Power Wagon only comes in a short bed these days I recommend using a sliding hitch unless the trailer has a Revolution or Sidewinder pin box. If you need a new hitch or want to change your pin box to a Sidewinder let me know.

Also, it'll be a lot easier to hook up the trailer with a 7-way in the truck bed. You can add one using part # 50-97-410.
