Tow Dolly to Allow Towing 2017 Chevrolet Sonic RS Behind Motorhome

Really like this car to tow behind a 35 ft rv. A little concerned about towing this sporty car. The tires are beautiful but look too good to tow 2017 dingy report says the rs cannot be towed . Other that leaning towards the cmax. That sonic though.

The online owner's manual for the 2017 Chevrolet Sonic RS indicates on page 278 that this specific version of the vehicle cannot be flat towed with all wheels down. Here is the language from the manual:

"If the vehicle is towed with all four wheels on the ground, the drivetrain components could be damaged. The repairs would not be covered by the vehicle warranty. Do not tow the vehicle with all four wheels on the ground. The vehicle was not designed to be towed with all four wheels on the
ground. If the vehicle must be towed, a dolly should be used". Fortunately, we do offer the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 tow dolly.

If you do instead decide on the 2017 C-Max this vehicle can be towed all-wheels-down according to page 190 of the online owner's manual. This car can also be towed on a tow dolly.
