We always recommend installing a supplemental braking system for a flat towing setup. Even though it may not be required by law in every state, it makes your towing setup much more safe and puts less wear on both your towing vehicle and the vehicle being towed.
One of the most popular systems that we have is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This sits in front of the driver's seat of your Jeep and will apply pressure to the brake pedal at the same time and with the same intensity that the brake pedal is pressed in your Winnebago Vista.
If receives power from the 12V accessory outlet, but if your Jeep doesn't have one you can easily install one with the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332.
Please keep in mind that a complete flat towing kit will include a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you are missing any of these parts please let me know and I can make some recommendations. The only pieces that we wouldn't be able to supply is a base plate kit as those are custom-fit, and a tow bar that is compatible with the base plate kit. You would need to find a company who can make one for your specific Jeep.
