Is the Rampage SuperBrite LED Tailgate Light Bar Part # RA960134 DOT Approved
Question:
If these plug into the 4 way connector then I will have unplug them every time I pull my trailer? Is there another solution or am I not understanding something?

I spoke to my contact at Rampage and they were able to inform me that the Rampage SuperBrite LED Tailgate Light Bar part # RA960134 is approved by the department of transportation (DOT) in all states. Therefore, you will not need to worry about getting pulled over because of the light bar that is.
The light bar is very easy to install. All you need to do is plug the 4-way trailer connector on the light bar into the 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle or cut off the connector and splice into the factory lights. You can then remove the adhesive backing and apply.
