Troubleshooting B&W Companion Hitch Leaning to One Side When Connected to Trailer
Question:
Hello Ive purchased a bandw companion hitch Ive noticed that when I hook up my 3car wedge trailer to it, its tilted to the drivers side. Are there adjustments to fix this problem? My shocks and leafsprings are fine I had them checked out and the hitch was professionally installed What is causing my trailer to tilt to the side

The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500 that you recently installed features a fully-articulating head assembly that can tilt to one side or the other. This is to ease hookup with the trailer. With that being said, it is somewhat normal to see this tilting when the hitch is not under load, but the lean you are seeing with the trailer hooked up may indicate that the trailer itself is unlevel. I simply recommend making sure that the trailer is loaded evenly and there isn't a imbalance in weight that's causing this. If the trailer looks fine, you can also check to see if your truck is properly/evenly loaded from side to side.
If this does not resolve the issue, please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
