Class III Transmission Cooler for 2004 Acura MDX
Question:
I want to buy a transmission cooler for my Acura MDX to extend the life of the transmission. Im not going to be pulling anything, just regular driving. What class # cooler do you recommend. Thank you.

A supplemental transmission cooler is important for towing applications but even for regular driving it will serve to take some of the heat stress off your transmission.
Since you are not towing a Class III cooler will be sufficient. You can use Derale # D13503 so long as you have room to mount it; the cooler measures 11W x 8-3/4T x 7/8D. Coolers are not vehicle-specific so you can use as large a cooler as you can fit.
