Flat-Tow Wiring for a 2006 Toyota Prius
Question:
I have a 2006 Prius. Do you have a kit that I can plug into the tailight system so the lights are activated from the RV that is towing it? Thanks

I do have an option for you but they do not make a "plug-in" kit for what you are looking for. In order to activate the lights in the toad while in your RV you will need to use a flat-tow diode kit like the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit part # RM-154. This kit as you mentioned will tie into the vehicle's tail light circuits and send this signal to the RV. The diode's will be needed to prevent the backflow of electricity. Another option for you that would not require any alterations to the vehicle's wiring harness would be to use a set of magnetic lights like the Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights part # TL21RK.
Please note that a 2006 Toyota Prius cannot be flat-towed with 4 wheels down according to the owner's manual. The vehicle will need to be towed with a dolly like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly part # RM-2050-1. I have attached a review video of the tow dolly for you as well.
