We can help you with a hitch and trailer wiring harness for your 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander.
I suggest the 2-inch Class III Curt hitch # C13163. This hitch includes all required mounting hardware as shown in the linked video. Written instructions are linked for you too and these tell you exactly what tools you need to bolt on the hitch. No drilling is necessary.
For wiring use kit # 118482 if you do NOT have the towing package; use part # 118277 if you DO have the tow package. Install videos for both kits are linked for you.
You may also be interested in our Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes two ball mounds and two hitch balls along with a pin and clip. Or you can refer to the linked article that explains how to choose a ball mount.
For a lock to secure the ball mount you can use # e98880.
