Is the Trailer Wiring Kit Included with the Draw-Tite # 75556 for a 2015 Chevrolet Captiva Sport
Question:
Am I correct that the draw-tite hitch kit does not include the wiring harness?

You are correct. The only thing that comes with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75556 is the trailer hitch itself and the hardware needed for installation on your 2015 Chevrolet Captiva Sport.
For a trailer wiring kit I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C56257. This plugs into the wiring behind your tail lights and just needs the wire run to the battery to power the trailer lights. This gives you a 4-Way flat connector for basic trailer lighting functions.
To complete your towing setup you also need a ball mount and hitch ball. One of the more popular kits that we have is the Curt part # C45036 which comes with a 2" hitch ball and a ball mount that has a 2" drop. Check out the attached helpful article to make sure that the 2" drop is correct for your towing application.
I have attached installation videos of the trailer hitch and the wiring harness for you to reference as well.
