Do BOLT GM Hitch Pin Locks Come with Master Keys
Question:
The key instructions were not very clear. I had assumed that a master key would come with the unit. The pin has been ed in the lock. Now the hitch pin is locked down without a key to unlock.

The master key for the BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # BL7018446 will be your vehicle key that you will insert into the core and turn it. Having a master key for these would defeat the purpose of this lock being keyed to only your vehicle and would open up the possibility of someone being able to run around and unlock all of them.
You only get to key these to one key so it has to be your vehicle key and then it's permanent.
In the review video our demo guy shows how to key the lock your vehicle key.
