Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-350 Long Bed
Question:
So I am interested in buying a 17 f350 and I have an elite hitch fifth wheel and I am interested in a hardware/under bed rail kit... Does Reese or any other manufacturer make a kit to be able to use my current hitch elite slider or would it be more economical to buy a different hitch... I have never used the slider and probably never will. Thank you,

If the 2017 Ford F-350 that you are considering does not have the factory fifth wheel rail kit there isn't a way to fit your Elite hitch to it. If it has the factory rail kit you'd be good to go as-is.
So if you don't have the rail kit you'd have to install a new rail kit and go with a new hitch. My favorite option is the B and W Companion hitch like the part # BWRVK3500 as this is referred to as the best hitch around by most of the RV community. Your Elite hitch is also really nice and is commonly the one that people have a hard time deciding between with the Companion.
To install this hitch will require the rail kit part # BWGNRK1116 which also doubles as a gooseneck hitch so you get additional versatility out of this setup as well.
