Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2016 Chevrolet Express Van 3500 with Tow Package
Question:
I am looking for a 7-way trailer plug/wire harness for a 2016 Chevy Express 3500 LT. It was equipped from the factory with tow haul but not a hitch or trailer plug. I want to keep the wiring clean and as close to factory as possible. Do you have any kits that would fit this criteria. Thank you!

Since your 2016 Chevy Express Van features the factory tow package, I recommend the Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975. This custom-fit connector will install by plugging right into the OEM wiring system beneath the vehicle. It will provide you with both a 7-Way and 4-Way connector, so you have some versatility in case you ever tow a trailer with a 4-Way. This will be a simple, plug-and-play installation and the end result will give you a nice, from the factory appearance.
I have attached an installation video on the 2014 model Express Van that you can use for reference.
If you are still looking for a trailer hitch, I recommend the Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch # 14090. This hitch is confirmed to fit your Express Van and will use existing holes in the vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation. I have attached an installation video on your 2016 model that you can also check out.
