Instead of 7.50-16LT (Light Truck) tires, you will want to put trailer tires on your trailer.
Trailer tires have a stiffer sidewall which allows them to carry heavier loads better than a passenger car tire. Passenger car tires have some flex in their sidewalls to help make the ride more smooth. Since this is not needed on a trailer it is always best to go with the stronger trailer tires.
You will want to get a replacement tire that is comparable to the size of your 7.00-16 size tire. Your current tire has a section width of 7.00" and is 28.88" in diameter. The closest size tire that we have to this is the size 235/80-16 which has a section width of 9.25" and has a 30.79" diameter.
If you choose to go this route then I recommend going with the Taskmaster Provider # TTWTRTM2358016E which has a Load Range of E (3,520 lbs at 80 psi), has a speed rating of 81 mph, and fits on a 16" x 6" wheel. You will just want to make sure that there is enough room for it to fit in your fender (should you have one) and the trailer frame. Typically we recommend having 4" between the tire and fender, and 2" between the tire and trailer frame.
I have attached review videos for both tires for you to check out.
