Question:
Is the45jv Thule OutWay 2 Bicycle Trunk Mounted Rack is compatible with a 2007 Honda Accord EX V6 4-door sedan? Would you also recommend a hitch mount 2-bike carrier for the same vehicle?

According to Thule, the OutWay 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack, # TH45JV, will fit your 2007 Honda Accord 4-door. I have included a link to the installation details and a link to a video review of the OutWay bike racks. If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across from handle bars to seat post, I recommend the Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video review of the adapter for you to view.
For a hitch mount bike rack, you would first need a trailer hitch if you do not already have one. I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer hitch, # 24787. It is the most popular hitch for your vehicle. I have included a link to the installation details for this hitch and a video link showing a typical installation.
because this is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, you will need a bike rack that is compatible. I recommend the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360. This rack is compatible with Class I hitches, it has anti-sway cradles, and can tilt down away from the vehicle for greater access to the trunk area. The adpater bar listed above will also work with this rack. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
