Expert Reply:
When used as a bed extender, the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender # EM07605 referenced in your question can adjust up to 24 inches in height and extend out 4 feet from the hitch receiver. When the extender is used as a high-mount load bar, it will extend out 11 inches from the receiver and can be adjusted in height from 55-1/4 inches to 62 inches.
This carrier will let you safely and easily carry loads that extend past the bed of your truck. It has a weight capacity of 350 pounds. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
