Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for 2011 Ford F-250 Short Bed
Question:
We are buying a fifth wheel camper 2016 SHASTA RVS PHOENIX 34RD hitch weight 2361 lbs gross weight 14361 lbs and I have a 2011 F250 super duty crew cab power stroke 6 3/4 bed and I want to make sure I get the right fifth wheel hitch. Truck doesnt have factory rail kit but I dont want to have to drill holes in my frame. Also I dont need a expense one just a good quality one. Any help is appreciated

Since you have a short bed truck you'll need a slider hitch to allow you to make tight turns without cab interference. So you'd want the Curt Slider hitch part # C16521 which has a 16k capacity and then for a rail kit confirmed as a fit for your truck that won't require frame drilling you'll want the part # C16424-204 which will work great.
Bang for your buck this setup is about as good as it gets. The A16 is a great hitch that's also not crazy expensive and the custom rail kit will fit without drilling.
