can this part be installed on a 1998 ford f159 2dr long bed i have a reese 16k 5th wheel hitch with rails if not what brackets will work thank you russ i am looking for a inexpensive brackets

For your 1998 Ford F-150 the best solution for an inexpensive fifth wheel rail kit would be the part # RP30035 which is a confirmed fit and would work well.
A custom install kit like part # RP50042-58 is another option to consider but it costs more. It will cut install time by about 50 percent and will minimize drilling too.
