The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller, part # TK94FR, is a universal controller that can work on any vehicle. All it needs to operate is a 7-way trailer connector at the rear of your 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL 450 that has a functioning 12 volt power circuit.
If your Mercedes doesn't have a 7-way on it already you can add one. First you want to add a 4-way using the Hopkins, part # 46255. Then use our # ETBC7 kit to convert the 4-way to a 7-way. You don't even have to install the brake circuit of the # ETBC7 since the Prodigy RF doesn't use it.
If your Mercedes already has a 7-way then the Prodigy RF is all you need.
