Where Does a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Mount on a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport
Question:
So I just leased a brand new 5 miles 2017 Nissan Rogue Sports S AWD and while my passenger side hitch area looks identical, the driver side only seems to have one bolt hole see picture. It also doesnt have any appearance panels, but doesnt seem like that is a big deal. Any ideas?

When installing Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 76177 on your 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport you will use the included hardware on the driver's side. There are 2 bolts and 2 blocks that will get fed into the frame. The threaded ends will exit through 2 of the holes in your picture, through the holes in the hitch, and secured with washers and nuts.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you can use Tekonsha harness # 118757 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.
