Brake light switch to use with a SMI duo braking system 2017 chevy spark

In order to find the cold side of the brake light switch for connecting the red wire on the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System # SM99251, you will need to test for the wire beneath the brake pedal that only receives power when the brake pedal is activated. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the wires on your vehicle. I was unable to find what color wire this is on your 2017 Chevy Spark.

Also note that for the SMI Braking System to work properly on your vehicle, you will need to add the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751480. This ensures that the braking system is properly positioned and working effectivately, as it will activate your RV monitoring system to alert you when the brakes of the Spark are being applied.
