Is Drilling Required for Installation of Curt Trailer Hitch # 11248 on a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant
Question:
Is there any drilling required to install this hitch. I understand some hitches you have to drill holes in the trunk and others bolt to the frame, no drilling. Which is this hitch? I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant.

To install the Curt Trailer Hitch # 11248, on your 2001 Mitsubishi Galant, you will need to drill 2 holes through the trunk pan. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
The hitch comes with a ball mount, pin and clip. For a ball, use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you can use # 119178KIT. I have included a link to a video that shows a typical installation.
