Does Reflective Surface of Camco Lights Out Retractable RV Shade Create Heat to Damage Vent Lid

Will the heat given off from the reflective surface cause damage to my plastic vent lid?

I can't say that it's ever been tested but there aren't any reports of the Camco Lights Out RV Retractable Shade, part # CAM42913, causing any damage to a roof vent lid. It does block heat from entering your RV but it doesn't emit its own heat so I can't imagine in anyway that it could.
