Cross Reference For Disc Brakes for Trailer Based on Automotive Applications

Question:

Is this the MKD289 pad? Is it the old Titan part #TDBC2250PAD? Looking for the pads for a 10foot Titan Premier Disc End Kit Thanks

Expert Reply:

So the part number MKD289 is an automotive application for brake pads. If that's the style you need the correct replacement is the # K225CP which is the match.

I attached a chart that has some other interesting info for picking out replacement brake pads in the event you could only use a local auto parts store.

Other pads mentioned in that chart are # K250CP in the middle chart and # K338CP at the bottom.
