Recommendation For Diode Wiring Kit For 2015 Chevrolet Equinox
Question:
I'm needing a diode wiring kit for my 2015 Chev Equinox. Not sure if I need the 7-wire to 4-wire or the 7-wire to 6-wire. Can you advise? Thank you

I recommend the Roadmaster Diode Kit, Item # RM-15267, because it gives you more functions. It comes with a coiled umbilical and a connector for the front of the vehicle. You will need to pull a fuse to flat tow so I recommend a fuse bypass like Item # RM76511 to make this easier. A charge line kit like Item # RM-156-25 will also be needed to keep your car battery charged while being towed.
If you want to keep the Equinox lighting system separate from your RV then you will need some additional parts. You will need a wiring converter like Item # 118158 and two additional diodes like Item # RM-792. This setup will still have your Equinox work in a combined fashion with your RV lights but your car's brake lights will do the flashing for turn signals.
Whether using a combined or lighting system, your Equinox will still function as designed when not hooked up to your RV.
Before flat-towing your 2015 Chevrolet Equinox, be sure to check your owner's manual for any suggestions or recommendations.
