Heavy-Duty Mud Flap Options for 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

I have the XLT 4x4 version of the 2018 Ford F-150. Is there a mud flap better suited for this truck due to the increased ground height? Thanks

If you really want serious protection from a mud flap I suggest using a hitch-mount type like the Rock Tamers # ERT00108.

Not only are these larger and more durable but since they install on a ball mount they are easily removed and they will not interfere with factory trim components like fender flares. Many of these hitch-mount mud flaps allow you to trim them to your preferred size for the most protection for a trailer.

Do note that the Rock Tamers flaps need only an inch of space on the ball mount shank, as shown in the linked diagram. Access flaps need 3-inches.
