Brake Controller Wiring for a 2014 Ford E-350 with Factory Towing Package

With a towing package on this van is there already a wire run for the brake controller from the hitch ? Do i still have to run power from the fuse box?

As long as your 2014 Ford E-350 has a factory trailer connector at the rear of the vehicle then you will not need to run any additional wires in order to install a brake controller such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195. All you will need to install a brake controller on models with a factory trailer connector is the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3034-P.
However, if your Van did not come with a factory trailer connector then you will need to hardwire the brake controller using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7 which also requires an existing 4-way such as part # 118551.
