Thank you very much for your question, helping our customers to prevent sway and providing the correct weight distribution hitch is something I am happy to help you do today.
I recommended a WD system that ensures that your trailer stays in line with your tow vehicle. It will evenly distribute weight over axles of tow vehicle and trailer for stability and control and creates a level ride for both tow vehicle and trailer.
This recommended weight distribution is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # EQ37120ET. It features an integrated 4-point sway control that limits side-to-side movement. includes brackets that keep spring bars in place for a rigid system that holds trailer in line. it also features steel-on-steel friction to help minimize sway caused by winds, curvy roads or sudden maneuvers and it has no lift chains to eliminate unwanted movement. I have attached a video that describes this product in detail.
When selecting a weight distribution system, it is always best to make sure your trailers fully-loaded tongue weight falls close to the middle of the system range to further make sure that the weight is evenly distributed. We offer the etrailer Trailer Tongue Weight Scale 2,000-lb Capacity # e99044 to make sure your trailer hitch is not being overloaded.
